MyTripNext works the other way: describe the trip you want, the climate, the landscape, the activities, the budget, and the tool finds destinations that genuinely match. Filter destinations by climate
Set your travel dates and choose your preferred temperature range (cold, warm, or hot) and precipitation level (dry, moderate, or wet). All climate data is filtered to your specific travel window, not annual averages, so you know what conditions to actually expect when you arrive.
Match destinations to your terrain preferences
Looking for coastal cities, mountain towns, or flat plains? Filter by city terrain, surrounding topography, elevation, and proximity to sea, lake, or river. Whether you want a high-altitude city above 2,000 metres or a sea-level beach destination, the terrain filters narrow it down precisely.
Discover destinations by activity
Select from 26 activities across five categories, nature and outdoor, culture and history, adventure and sports, entertainment, and relaxation. Results only include cities where your chosen activities genuinely exist, with named places of interest listed for each. Great for planning trips around hiking, beaches, museums, spas, or winter sports.
Filter by daily travel budget
Set a daily budget per person in euros and the tool flags each destination as budget-friendly, comfortable, or luxury based on real spending estimates for food, local transport, and activities, excluding flights and accommodation. Useful for comparing the true cost of a week in Bangkok vs. Lisbon vs. Buenos Aires.

How the destination matching works
The tool queries a database of 24,000+ cities worldwide, each tagged with monthly climate records, geographic attributes, activity availability, and daily budget estimates. When you run a search, every filter is applied simultaneously, so a result showing "warm, coastal, hiking, €60/day" genuinely satisfies all four conditions at once, not just some of them.
Results are ranked to surface the best city per country first, so you see geographic diversity rather than a list dominated by the largest cities in one region. Each result links to a full destination page with climate charts, a best-time-to-visit grid, activity details, and a budget breakdown.
The site covers destinations across Europe, Asia, Africa, the Americas, and Oceania. You can narrow by continent or country, or leave location open to discover places you hadn't considered.
